Miguel Martin is inviting curators, programmers, and organisers to submit proposals for a potential exhibition or project with him at their affiliated organisation.
Application deadline: Friday 17 April 2026, 11:59 pm EST.
This opportunity is open to individuals working across independent galleries, project spaces, and artist-led initiatives, both in the UK and internationally.
Miguel Martin (b. Belfast, based in Hastings, UK) works across drawing, photography, and installation, tracing the uncanny intersections of digital culture, identity, and mediation. His practice explores the slippages between sincerity and irony, fiction and reality, drawing on internet folklore, hauntology, AI, and the aesthetics of post-sincerity. Rooted in personal archives and collaborative exchanges, his work lingers in the eerie familiarity of mediated identities, everyday anomalies, and the unsettling allure of the in-between.
Proposals should demonstrate a clear engagement with this practice and outline how the work would be developed, presented, and contextualised within your programme.
Selected applicants will be invited to develop the proposal further in conversation, with the potential to realise the project collaboratively.
What is offered
– Access to existing works and ongoing projects
– Direct collaboration with the artist
– Flexibility to develop new or site-responsive work
– Ongoing dialogue throughout the development of the project

Curators at any stage of their career are welcome to apply. This includes those working independently or within organisations, as well as those developing new or experimental curatorial models.
